Homemade Chicken Alfredo Pizza

i have always had a hard time getting my little guy to eat. the first type of meat he ate was beef jerky at age two. needless to say pizza has never been something he would eat...yeah i know i have a weird picky kid.

finally, at age 8, i am able to get him to eat pizza...and this is how i did it. chicken alfredo pizza.

super easy to do and cheap!

start out with my homemade bread recipe found here

follow the instructions for the garlic cheesy bread. here are the additional ingredients you will need after you make the dough:

alfredo sauce (have not mastered homemade for this yet so i buy from the store)
chicken breast or tenderloins (i have used can before but these photos are tenderloins i have boiled. i used 3 medium sized tenders for this pizza)
cheese! (as little or as much as youd like. will need at least 2-3 cups. i used mozzarella and parmesean)
garlic minced
onion minced
salt
pepper

pre-heat oven to 425 degrees

mix alfredo sauce (about 1/2 cup for light sauce) garlic and onion into a small bowl. spread onto you dough that is on a greased pizza pan.
hand crumbled your chicken onto your pizza. if you like a lot of chicken double the amount that i used.
add salt and pepper.
cover with cheese(s).

cook at 425 for about 18 minutes for thinner crusts. 25 minutes if you have made a thicker crust.

cut. serve. eat.

enjoy!
